Work Process

Custom design

Together we will create a design that translates your love story into a design on paper. I would like to hear all your wishes and ideas and you will receive a digital proof that imitates reality as much as possible. You will receive a sample package with examples of real invitations so that you get an idea of the printing techniques.

High quality materials

For the special printing techniques I use a special type of paper that is designed to make these printing techniques stand out as best as possible. This is a thick and soft cotton paper of high quality and available in different weights. I also carefully put together the other materials such as matching envelopes, wax seals, ribbons and much more.

Special Printing Techniques

The invitations are printed by hand on a antique printing press, which allows me to use printing techniques such as letterpress, embossing and foil printing. Special metal printing plates are required for these printing techniques. For this reason it is not possible to print a proof of your design. Printing on this antique press is all done by hand, a slow-printing process.

Assembling and Extra Services

Assembling the invitation sets can be very time consuming. Because I know how much work organizing a wedding is, I offer two extra services so you have your hands free to do other important things. With the Deluxe Service I assembly the complete invitation set so you only have to add postage and mail them yourself, or if you want to be completly worry free you can opt for The White Glove Service. This means that I will take care of assembling, postage and mail them directly to your guests.
